Hulk Hogan elaborates on his call to have World Champion Kurt Angle go over challenger Robert Roode at TNA's annual event Bound for Glory, he states on twitter:
“Goodmorning HULKAMANIACS,can’t wait for all the Rood fans that turned to haters to see the big picture, thank God we still have real marks HH”
Hogan talks about the big picture, he states that the fans have no idea about how wrestling is booked and sees us mostly as outsiders, and I for one am sick of it, when TNA's creative (I use the term losely) suffers froom bad booking they then get angry when the fans voice their opinions, Bischoff likes to call these types of fans 10 % er's, without acknowledging that such fans are actually buying in to their terrible brand.
“Having a blast watching Internet marks react. Candy from a baby!”
Bischoff Hervey entertainment have a vested interest in TNA but Bischoff himself keeps mocking the companies fans or internet marks that take a stance on the companies bad booking.
Without acknowledging the fans views Hogan and Bischoff immediatly placed the world title on James Storm in a match against Angle that remained short they literally threw the belt away on free tv without a payoff, If Hogan felt this strongly about Roode's push why not give Storm the bfg push have his feud with Angle culminate in a world title victory at the PPV and then start a feud with Roode on Impact the night after, this accomplishes three things
- New champion at a major PPV (Storm wins) = More buys
- Roode gains his title shot at the following Impact
- Injured Angle doesnt job the belt on free Tv and doesnt devalue the title.
When Hogan and Bischoff speak of a proper payoff then why didn't they book an underdog champion that looked strong, instead of booking two talents who now look weak because Angle couldn't have dropped the belt when it was warranted.
Hogan and Bischoff may claim that the fans lack understanding in this matter and fail to see the bigger picture but with TNA's current cretive direction and rather questionable booking of homegrown talent they will eventual suffer the same fate as WCW the company that eventually went under because no one wanted to help the companies younger talent, The Aj's, the Roode's, the Kazarians, The Daniels all need motivation to stay with TNA , with things the way they are why would any of the young talent build a brand that isn't motivated in building them.
So to Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff i ask you to do one thing, listen to your fans, stop this elitist behaviour and start embracing the views of the people that matter the guys that actually pay the bills.
Hogan wouldn't care though all he wants is his paycheck, all Bischoff wants is to get more clout with Spike TV, neither care about TNA nore the talent involved.
